Description

This painting was created at Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde, part of the National Museum in Stockholm, during my exhibition Presence between October 2012 and January 2013. It was done in the upper gallery, which was the studio of the painter Prince Eugen, son of king Oscar II. I remember that in my twenties the studio was still preserved as it once looked, with his easels and brushes on display. He died in 1947. It was a special feeling to be able to stand in his studio and paint. The painting is presently displayed at Museum Lars Jonsson.
