It started to snow on Christmas Eve and the days up till the New Year was wintry on southern Gotland. The pictures here where taken at Vamlingbo Vicarage on December 28. At my house in Hamra the thermometer showed -10°C on the morning of the 29th. The mild weather was however back for the New Years Eve but today the small pond in my garden was frosen again. We have a strong Nortwestern that seriously bites on the cheek. A Great Northern Shrike was the best bird on my morning walk. Four Bullfinches, four Grey Partridges that the dogs flashed and a White-tailed Eagle was the other noteworthy birds. We are open i the museum until the 6th and then we are closed until easter.
