Description
The image depicts a Gyrfalcon watching from a cliff. It is a light phased individual that occur in some areas of the high Arctic. The light ones are often called Greenland falcons, but hey do occur in other areas of the Arctic, like northwest Canada and northeast Siberia. I was inspired by the intricate patterns of the feathers which is the focus of this image.
